Οὐκοῦν εἰ μηδὲν ἔχει μέρος, οὔτ’ ἂν ἀρχὴν οὔτε τελευτὴν οὔτε μέσον ἔχοι.

Jonathan Greig I am currently a final-stage PhD in the Munich School of Ancient Philosophy at the LMU Munich working on late antique, Neoplatonic metaphysics. I recently completed my dissertation in October, 2017, with the defense and graduation set for the end of February to beginning March, 2018.

I have also worked on metaphysics in late antiquity (3rd–6th cent. A.D.), as well as Aristotle and Plato, and have general interests in related areas as Byzantine philosophy and Christian Patristics. I am also interested in relating contemporary accounts of causality and grounding to ancient dicussions on causality for Platonists and Aristotelians, as well as other late antique schools like the Stoics.
